Marc Schtul, a legal specialist in the Big Data industry points out that the law surrounding Big Data and data analytics can be characterized in 3 main points:
1) It will greatly effects litigation.
The more data, the more facts. The more facts, the more evidence (pro and con).
2) Most attorneys do not understand Big Data.
There are many "tech" attorneys who claim to understand the ramifications of Big Data. But we often find that they don't grasp the depths and reach.
3) It's importance is increasing daily.
Big data is a big part of our lives, whether we want it or not! So it is important to keep abreast of the changes in the industry.
