The answer is never. And the answer is always. There is no need to understand all the in’s and out’s of big data. We are looking for results and action points. The data is and always will be a tool. The secret sauce is: what will you do with the data? That’s why business processes are so important. If a firm like ours can point out the problems in an insurance claim, there may be many insurance claims with the same problems. Will we use this tool to make money or save money?
